Questions to clarify (2)
- How do you reserve places before names are known? Do they count as bookings?
- The workbook does not say whether an event is virtual or face to face. Which is each event? Is there a list, or a rule such as by client or by unit?

Overview
One row per event. Booked, held and free are calculated from bookings and holds, never typed.
What do these words mean?
- Open to anyone
- A public course. Any employer can book individual learners on it.
- Client only
- A group that belongs to one employer. Spare seats can be filled from open courses.
- Hold
- Places reserved for a client before the learners' names are known. It has a release date.
- Sales cut-off
- Last day to book learners, so the preparation can finish in time.
- CIAG
- Careers information, advice and guidance. Every learner has a session before they start.
- BAPS
- Booking and Planning System. A learner is not really enrolled until booked in it.
- SUC
- The sign-up calls the DLAs make: each DLA has a caseload of 60 learners a month, and the calls run in a two-week window before the start. (An earlier note said "unit cost"; that was wrong.)
How to read this table
- Course
- The full course name, with the workbook's code underneath (STRAT, ADOPT or DELIVER).
- Client
- The client or clients the event is for, as the workbook's cohort field words it (numbered here). Underneath: an open course or a client group.
- Lead (DLA)
- The Digital Learning Advisor who leads the event.
- Trainer
- The tutor who teaches it.
- Stage
- Where the event is in its life: planned (not confirmed), upcoming, in delivery, delivered or cancelled.
- Places and Space
- Booked, held for a client and free places. "Plenty of space" means under 75% taken, "Getting full" means 75% or more, "Full" means no free places, "Overbooked" means more than the capacity. The 75% is a setting.
- Data checks
- "none" means no problems were found in that event's records. A number means that many problems to fix (see Checks). It does not say whether the event itself is going well.
